Founded in 2016, Vintage Threads is one of Europe’s leading vintage retailers operating across both online and physical stores. Every piece that we sell has been handpicked from around the world and we typically sell a highly curated selection of both designer and sportswear from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. The VT Rework department of the business is a massively evolving space and our goal is to carry on reducing the waste produced by the fashion industry by reworking damaged items to create some truly unique pieces. Our team is full of young, energetic, and ambitious people who are truly passionate about vintage and the story we are trying to create through the items we source and produce, and we would love whoever fills this position to share this passion.

The role of Sales Advisor

Vintage Threads is looking for a part-time Sales Advisor to join the team in Covent Garden, working 3–4 times per week.  As the face of the brand for customers, the Sales Advisor will play a crucial role in bringing energy, a love for vintage and a passion for delivering first-class customer service.  We create a lot of content in the store, so if you are looking for a job with content creation, then this is also an ideal opportunity.

There is huge potential within Vintage Threads to get experience working at our other stores and our East London studio. So if you are looking at long-term growth, this might be relevant to you as well.

What Vintage Threads is looking for:

• Experience - Experience working in retail – the shop is very busy, and you should be comfortable with dealing with multiple customers at once
• Availability & Reliability – You will be expected to work some weekends, including Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays.  If this doesn't fit into your schedule, then please don't apply for the role.  For example, we will need this person to work on some days during the August bank holiday.
• Passion – We aren't a normal vintage shop that shoves clothes on the rails with a smell of your grandma's house. We curate one of the most high-end selections of vintage in the UK. We need someone who understands this and can help add their own passion to the role.
• Brand Knowledge – You are going to be working with brands such as Prada, Stussy, Stone Island, D&G, Burberry, Moncler, and so much more. Brand knowledge would really help you shine in this role, as customers look for your knowledge on learning more about the items.
