Urbiana is an award-winning boutique jewellery chain with an online store and offline presence across London.  Most recently, we launched in Tokyo, Japan. We are based out of Brick Lane in east London.  As a 14-year-old established fashion business in East London, we have a strong brand recall in our target market.  Urbiana recently received grant funding from the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to pilot a lend-and-reuse model for our business.

Join our boutique jewellery store on Brick Lane as a Sales Associate and be an essential part of our team. Your role will involve engaging with customers, showcasing exquisite jewellery pieces, and contributing to the store's vibrant and welcoming atmosphere on weekends. 

Responsibilities of the Sales Assistant:

• Giving exceptional customer service anywhere in the store and encouraging add-on sales
• Ensure that the store is always fully stocked and maintained to a high standard.
• Supporting the management team in achieving store targets
• Brand ambassador for Urbiana's flagship boutique
• Meet growth and sales targets for the business
• Share Urbiana’s offerings with the wider community and enhance brand recall
• Delivering excellent customer service

What Urbiana is looking for:

• At least 1 year's experience in retail
• Enjoy talking to all different types of people from different parts of the world
• Passionate about the wide range of products that we sell and be able to sell our great deals actively
• Friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong communication & sales skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Positive team player.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Curious to learn and grow in a small team.
• Fashion retail experience is a plus
