The role of Sales Associate / Fit Specialist is the gateway to our brand, and you can expect varied responsibilities, in-depth bra fitting training and a founder-led set up driven by passion for the mission.  

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Sales Associate / Fit Specialist

Customer service/Bra Fitting:

• This is a store-based role; primary responsibilities will be to offer product advice and bra fitting to customers of The Pantry Underwear.
• Bra fitting in specialist sectors including bridal, maternity, and post-surgery, with extensive training provided on an ongoing basis. 

Online Bra Fitting:

• Host online bra fittings in line with the brand tone of voice and utilising learned technical and product knowledge.
• Support management of the CRM and ongoing customer relations via email, advanced sales and marketing methods. 

Customer Relationship Management:

• Encourage repeat business, including VIP status, loyalty engagement and advocacy, upsell incentives, as well as sales development pathways e.g. from pregnancy through to post-nursing / maternity ( includes digital communications training, using Kalviyo email
• marketing software ).

On-Site & Off-Site Events Support:

• In collaboration with Marketing and Business Development, the Sales Associates will support the organisation of on-site and off-site customer events, involving liaising with external partners, budgeting and procurement and agenda management, as well as promotion.

Visual Merchandising:

• Ensure that products are always displayed to their best advantage in stores and that displays are re-stocked regularly, as well as aesthetically maintained, e.g. pricing, sizing, back-up stock.

Product Range Development:

• Provide customer feedback to management. 

Inventory Management:

• Administration of EPOS and website back office as appropriate.
• Maintain good awareness of stock outages and size availability across styles, as well as movement of stock between sites.
• New technology deployed in 2026 to enhance the customer experience between online and stores, with a view to growing the network in future.

Site Maintenance:

• Ensure that the workplace is kept clean and tidy, with regular responsibilities via a cleaning rota. 

What The Pantry Underwear is looking for:

• Positive, well-mannered, and motivated to help people and transform the often negative associations of the bra-wearing community with finding a bra. 
• Ability to organise and prioritise their workflow, ensuring the customer is at the forefront but that operational standards are maintained.
• Thrives in a detail-oriented and customer-centric environment with the ability to complete tasks / projects, often multiple at any one time.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Shopify and EPOS systems is helpful.

Recruitment specifics:

Our main objective from a recruitment perspective is to forge careers for those who choose to join us. It’s a busy working environment, where self-motivated individuals will thrive. 

This is a permanent position - we do not hire temporary staff, outside of freelancers - working an average of 16-24 hours per week across 2-3 days, which will include weekend shifts.  Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays every weekend (outside of days off requests) would be helpful. 

Based in our Islington Square store, there is also the likelihood of occasional travel to additional sites, including our Saffron Walden store, travel to which will be funded by the company.

Salary is dependent on experience in relation to this specific role.
