Key objective:

To develop, nurture and grow successful relationships with current and potential customers to maximise sales and profit for Katherine Hooker London. To meet and beat store and event targets. To provide customer insight to assist in the planning and development of the collections.

The role:

  • Drive the acquisition of new clients and retain existing clients through an engaging, personable brand experience
  • Being accountable for customer data collection and management
  • Keep customers up to date with any Katherine Hooker activity; to ensure they are fully engaged with the brand
  • Identify and proactively seek sales, increase store traffic and optimize profitability
  • Provide styling advice, by offering Katherine Hooker’s unique and customizable product range
  • Successfully resolve any customer queries and complaints
  • Analyse store sales trends to identify growth opportunities and make commercial suggestions to the Product Development team for future collections
  • Regularly review your store for commercial opportunities and take action accordingly
  • Support the MD and UK event co-ordinator, as required, at sales events
  • Take initiative with performing daily store operational tasks, such as keeping the shop floor well presented, stock checks etc.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards to enhance the brand and promote newness
  • Manage and be accountable for the store’s inventory and be proactive about reordering sold out items
  • Confidently use in store technology such as store iPad and till systems to efficiently process transactions and payments

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role within a luxury fashion retail environment
  • The ability to work calmly and under pressure
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently with ease
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage time and priorities
  • An experienced customer relationship builder with proven record in sales and ability to meet and beat targets
  • A full understanding of the brand; the look and quality demanded
  • Smart in appearance and able to represent the brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Shopify is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and a knowledge of Excel and Word
