McCann Bespoke, a luxury bespoke tailoring house specialising in handcrafted garments and exceptional personal service, is looking for an organised, personable, eager-to-learn Store & Client Tailoring Assistant to join the showroom in Bank, London.

This is an opportunity to build a long-term career within bespoke tailoring: the successful applicant will start by supporting the day-to-day running of the showroom before being trained to become a Tailoring Consultant.

No tailoring experience is necessary.  We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in working with people.

The role of Store & Client Tailoring Assistant

Initially, the Store & Client Tailoring Assistant will have a key role in keeping the showroom running smoothly.  This will include managing deliveries and stock, preparing garments for fittings and collections, coordinating appointments and being one of the first points of contact for our clients.

As experience within the role is gained, the Store & Client Tailoring Assistant will begin learning every stage of the bespoke process, from taking measurements and assisting with fittings to advising clients on cloth and styling.  Over time, progressing into managing their own client appointments as a Tailoring Consultant.

Responsibilities of the Store & Client Tailoring Assistant:

• Managing deliveries and incoming garments.
• Organising showroom stock and client orders.
• Preparing garments for fittings and collections.
• Contacting clients to arrange appointments and collections.
• Assisting with diary management.
• Supporting consultants during client appointments and fittings.
• Liaising with our tailoring team regarding alterations and garment progress.
• Maintaining a welcoming, well-presented showroom.
• Delivering an excellent experience for every client.

As training develops, the Store & Client Tailoring Assistant will also learn:

• Body measuring techniques.
• Garment construction and fitting.
• Cloth selection and styling advice.
• Conducting client consultations.
• Bespoke supply chain 
• Managing your own client relationships.
